How is Confucius being positively adapted to modern China?

A lot of his teachings have been taught at many schools in mondern China, right? But aren't there other positive things? I mean, Confucius was a very important man at that time, so he must have done a lot of important things. Are the things being taught effective?|||Confucianism is pretty much Chinese culture. It teaches respect and propriety, which are good things to have in any case. Some of the tenets are a bit outdated--for example, women always placed under men on the social hierarchy--which are ideas that are indeed changing, but in very specific cultural ways.





And yes, Confucianism is pretty much the curriculum of Chinese school.|||His cookies are the best!
